Award Winning Producer, Creative Director, and Visual Artist with decades of professional experience in multiple trade crafts. Responsible for the creative development and successful launch of a wide variety of multi-million-dollar media marketing campaigns and key asset creation in the entertainment, technology, and hospitality industries.

Mr. de Boer spent the first 10 years of his career as an Art Director, then Creative Director, bringing brands, products, and services to market while overseeing hundreds of artists and Art Departments around the country. As a Producer and VFX Artist in the Entertainment Industry, Donovan spent the last 15 years developing expertise in production and post in the areas of story & character development, writing, branding, marketing, editorial, 3D modeling, key art design, AR/VR production, packaging, merchandising, pre-vis, motion graphics, visual effects, architectural design, and high performance new media concepts.

In 2001, he launched his career taking the reins as Creative Director of Morningblue Solutions Inc., a full service boutique East Coast Advertising Firm and has since produced outstanding, highly profitable creative assets for a full spectrum of national and international brands including Coca-Cola, Disney, Jose Cuervo, Pepsi, Nestle (Istanbul), Naked Juice, Quaker, T-Mobile, Luxor, Caesars Palace: LINQ, Las Vegas, Howard Hughes PIER 17, Hollywood & Highland, Stacked, Pete Rose, and Sugar Factory, as well as being the brand manager and conceptual designer for over 1000 franchise hospitality and restaurant properties managed by HIG, Las Vegas.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2006 to focus on entertainment, Mr. de Boer has developed key entertainment marketing media assets and packaging for a string of successful properties including FALCON RISING starring Michael Jai White (Batman Begins, Spawn), NEVER BACK DOWN: NO SURRENDER, SKIN TRADE starring Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV) and Toni Jaa (Ong Bak Trilogy), POKER NIGHT starring Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons of Anarchy), FOR GREATER GLORY starring Andy Garcia (The Untouchables) and Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), TREASURE HUNTERS starring John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones Trilogy) , BEYOND THE MOONWALK with Michael Jackson, BAD ASS BIKERS starring heavyweight champion James “The Beast” Wilson (UFC, BELLATOR), CATS DANCING ON JUPITER with Amanda Righetti (Captain America, Colony), the Award Winning film CRU starring Harry J. Lennix (Matrix Trilogy) and Richard T. Jones (Godzilla), produced POV: Points of View which premiered at Tribeca in 2021,  and the critically acclaimed film IJE starring Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde (Last Flight to Abuja); which went on to become the highest grossing film ever made in Africa.

In 2012, Mr. de Boer teamed up with Michael Jai White as his producing partner to develop a slate of projects including BLACKER DYNAMITE, CROSSROADS, KING OF VAMPIRES, THE MOOR, THE OUTLAW JOHNNY BLACK (to be released in 2023) and TROUBLE MAN (Currently in Pre-Production). He is currently in development on an anthology series MIDNIGHT RADIO, a feature film trilogy TASIA, and the sci-fi horror feature STARLIGHT. In addition to these projects, Mr. de Boer brings several high profile relationships with him including his work with GRX Immersive, Last Man Out Productions, LightChaser Pictures, William Morris Endeavor, and Jaigantic Studios, to name a few.

Donovan holds two science degrees in Marketing Business from Remington College and a Film Degree from LAFS, where he completed a double major in Directing and Cinematography. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he has lived for the past 16 years.
